Always keep the vehicle locked, secure the keys and use a locked garage or well-lit parking area where possible.
No. The standard Uniden package is ignition-powered and records while you drive. Choose the parking-ready IROAD or BlackVue path, or ask us about an optional Uniden hardwire upgrade.
We configure the appropriate power method and cut-off settings for the selected package and vehicle. Parking duration still depends on the vehicle, settings and available power.
The $649 Uniden package uses its supplied ignition-powered lead. IROAD FX3-PRO includes its dedicated OBDII cable, while some European, commercial and complex vehicles still need extra fitting time or an inspection before we confirm the final price.
Tell us whether it is a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or fully electric vehicle. The FX3-PRO includes an OBDII cable intended for fuel, hybrid and electric vehicles, but fully electric vehicles remain subject to our compatible battery-pack and vehicle-specific installation check before quoting.
